Katie and Sarah are Chartered and HCPC registered Physiotherapists with many years of experience within the NHS and private practice
Katie began her physiotherapy career in 1994 in Ipswich General Hospital after graduating from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle. In Ipswich she completed a rotational post covering many specialities before specializing in Trauma and Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.
In 1999 Katie went on to a clinical specialist role in limb reconstruction and bone infection at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital in Oxford. Katie then moved to Winchester as a lead physio in trauma and orthopaedics.
Katie has been seeing patients in their homes for the past seven years and in November 2014 set up Hampshire Home physio with Sarah.
Sarah graduated in 1995 and started working life in the teaching hospitals of Newcastle. After completing an all round junior training Sarah chose to specialise in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
She then specialised further and for 13 years was clinical lead of the Trauma and Orthopaedic unit at University Hospitals Southampton. Here she has gained huge experience of a wide number of pathologies, injuries and surgeries.
Sarah joined Katie to set up Hampshire Home Physiotherapy and between the two of them they offer a high quality, professional service.
